Products good for the heart are also useful for the brain and the majority of these products can be seen on the festive table.



Researchers believe that cranberries as greatly facilitate the development of mental functions in humans.

They shall contain a large amount of antioxidants which interact with free radicals of oxygen. These radicals produce cholesterol, which is not only harmful to the cardiovascular system, but is guilty of deterioration of memory, and musculoskeletal system with age.

Studies show that a diet with a major component cranberries, resulting in improved memory and a more balanced operation of the musculoskeletal system.

Second only to cranberries rank brambles. They possess the same properties as cranberries, but these antioxidants are less. By contrast, however, when blackberries are substances that improve vision.

Third place was shared beets and cabbage. Substances contained in these vegetable destroy enzymes which lead to a great extent to the development of Alzheimer's disease and cognitive functions are lowered.

Next in the ranking takes oily fish. Fish such as salmon, sardines and herring contain acids that also degrade harmful enzymes.

Studies have shown that if once a week is consumed by a fat fish, it helps to significantly reduce the probability of developing Alzheimer's disease.

Honorary fifth place in the rating of "smart" foods occupies spinach. Experts have found that spinach slows the appearance of problems with the nervous system due to the aging of the body and prevent the occurrence of violations in identifying abilities.
